On Wednesday, September 7, Apple held its yearly keynote announcement. This year, the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, Apple Watch series 2, and AirPods were unveiled.

The iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus come in five finishes: jet black, black, gold, silver, and rose gold. The iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus have the best performance and battery ever in an iPhone, and the display is the brightest, most colorful on an iPhone. This is the first iPhone that is splash and water resistant. The home button is an advanced solid-state button designed to be durable, responsive, and pressure sensitive. The new camera on the iPhone 7 is a 12MP camera with optical image stabilization, 7 MP Facetime camera, and a quad LED True Tone flash. The iPhone 7 Plus has a 12MP wide-angle and telephoto cameras with an optical zoom at 2x and a digital zoom at 10x. The new IPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus also have a stereo speaker system.The price of the iPhone 7 starts at $649 and the iPhone 7 Plus starts at $769.

In addition to the new IPhones, Apple also released new Apple Watches called ‘Apple Watch Series 2’ and have partnered with Nike called the ‘Apple Watch Nike+’.

The Apple Watch Series 2 has a built-in GPS, is water resistant up to 50 meters, has a new lightning-fast dual-core processor, and a display that is two times brighter than before. It also has a workout app, an activity app, a heart rate sensor, and allows third-party workout apps. The pricing for the Apple Watch Series 2 starts at $369 and the Apple Watch Nike + comes out during late October.
One of the last things Apple announced this year was a new earphone system called the AirPods. The AirPods are wireless earphones that look like regular earphones, but without the cord. They are always on and connected, and can sense when they’re in your ears and pause when you take them out. The Airpods last up to 5 hours and come with a portable charger case. The pricing for the Airpods start at $159 during late October.
