The first season of Sliced finished filming just before Thanksgiving break. Even though the results are still undisclosed, winners from all classes will continue on in the next season scheduled for spring. So far there have been many different judges, ranging from our principal to a first-year teacher, all with close calls.
The judges had nothing but positive things to say. “The creativity was amazing,” said Sliced judge and front office secretary Mrs. Goth. Counselor Mr. Bonds added that he’s “impressed with the amount of time and quality of the food.” Students only had 20 minutes to make their dishes, prompting Bonds to add, “Expect the unexpected.”
“Everyone was running around reminding each other stuff on lines they had for each other and where the cameras needed to move,” explained Spanish teacher Mr. Rueschenburg. He even went as far as to say that he came back for seconds. “They got to run the show, and I got to eat food.”
